Crocuses
Radiant March brought down a hail of photons of light.
Transparent azure shines with gold.
A colored pattern in a spray of ultraviolet light
Crocuses born in the midst of storms have opened
The last snow, in the battle of winter with spring.
How audaciously bright is the wave of winged petals,
Burning a joyful openwork border
Against the background of withered leaves, porous snow.
